2020 Summer Playground Program

Due to Governor Wolf’s Orders and the current CDC Guidelines the Board of Supervisors has decided to close the Summer Playground Program for the 2020 season. We are hopeful that when Berks County moves into the Green Phase we will be able to hold “Pop up Events” for our Summer Playground children.  That will be determined later by the Board of Supervisors.  Similarly, private pavilion rentals will not be available until at least we are in the “Green Phase.”

Thank you for your continued support of our Program, we hope to see you all soon!

Attached is an example letter everyone will be receiving in the mail around March 12, 2020. It is important you keep this letter handy as it contains your unique Census ID (or take a picture of it). March 23, 2020 will be the opening day to complete your Census online. It is crucial that everyone does their part in completing the Census. The letter below is legit and should be taken seriously, DO NOT THROW IT AWAY!

See the highlighted areas below so you know what to look for. The Census will be completed online, if you do not have access to a computer there will be a phone number on this letter that you may call to request a paper Census form. If the Census is not completed in a timely manner Census workers will begin to call your residence and or knock on your door. The Census is great for so many reasons including funding and much more.
